I was drumming in a pop punk band around this time, in my first year after high school. The guitarist showed me this song and I remember how the riff just blew our minds. Even more so when I realized the singer played a lot of the lead riffs too. Crazy that this version seems even faster than the recording!

I saw them perform twice in 2003(I was 13,) I immediately bought "Perhaps, I Suppose" and a t-shirt after it was released directly from the label(Militia Group) and remember how every single last one of my friends absolutely adored them! Great and perfect band up until 2010.

The year was 2002. Middle school home ec class near the beginning of the year in rural Michigan. This new girl from California transfers to our school and is seated at my table. I'm 13 and finally finding out about punk rock and skating and all the stuff that would change me forever. Girl is wearing this black t-shirt... RUFIO - "punk rock classic" written below with the skull and crossbones. I told her I liked her shirt and she asked if I knew about the band... I lied and said I did of course, but recovered quickly and told her about all the bands I had just seen at Warped in Detroit just a couple months earlier. Hopped on limewire (probably) that afternoon and downloaded this song - always kinda think of that encounter when I revisit Rufio =). Cheers! PS: What a cool story if I had bonded more with that home ec girl... I honestly have no recollection of her after that moment and I don't think she stayed at the school even after that semester. But thank you my punk rock friend!
